RealEyes™ Monocular allows for observation and video recording of one eye during the testing of a dizzy patient or while performing vestibular rehabilitation therapy. The lightweight goggles can produce a completely dark environment.
RealEyes™ Monocular is comprised of a single camera and light-tight goggles. The camera can be easily moved from one eye portal to the other. The portal covers pivot to enable the examiner to test the patient in total darkness or allow the patient to see.
RealEyes™ Monocular uses standard video and audio outputs, making it easy to connect to TV, TV/VCR, TV/DVD, etc. RealEyes™ can be configured with an optional TV and DVD-Writer, giving you the flexibility to save the patient video and audio commentaries to DVD-R disc which can be viewed in most DVD players.
• Camera easily adjusts for interpupillary distance
• Built in microphone for audio recording
• Push button yellow-green fixation light
• External focus knob
• Comfortable, light tight goggle with a combined weight
of 9.6 oz
RealEyes™ xDVR incorporates the
monocular goggles and camera with Micromedical's xDVR software
to record the video and audio onto a computer. RealEyes™ xDVR
is designed to be compatible with any laptop PC with Windows XP
and at least 3 USB 2.0 ports. A USB footswitch with proprietary
microcontroller hardware provides system security and allows the
operator to start, stop, and progress through the nystagmus
tests while at the patient's side.
